hardware raid5 with a linux guest

Hi,
My pc has most of its storage linux-based - the standard SATA reiserfs drives I've got access to with my linux mint virtualbox using the "VBoxManage.exe createrawvmdk blabla" type commands in the manual. Now I'm trying to get my 5TB hardware raid5 JFS setup usable in the virtualbox (pretty crucial, I'll probably just go back to dualbooting if I can't
).
Windows detects it (in control panel -> system, its under storage controllers as "RocketRaid 2640X4 SAS Controller"), but how do I then give my virtualbox access to it? For info on the card: http://www.highpoint-tech.com/usa/rr2640x4.htm
Thanks for any help,
Alan
