The guest is XP32, which has a driver for the printer. I thought I could install the printer driver on the guest and print.
But from what I gather from your comments is that without a printer driver ON THE HOST I can't solve the problem.
If so, that's what I suspected myself from reading the VB manual, but some here gave me the impression it can be done.

I have the exact same problem with a camera for which a 64bit driver does not exist. My host is vista 64 bit and the guest is xp32 bit. I wished there was a way to install the driver just in the guest so that the camera could be detected by the guest. Any help would be tremendously appreciated and it would eliminate the need for a dual boot system.oao wrote:See my previous message:
