I definitely right clicked on the file and installed it as Admin. I have a vpn on my machine, but haven't used it for a long time and it was created with just the features in Vista. I'm using avasthome edition anti-virus and as far as I know it isn't set to protect a network...I do have it installed in XP on the Vbox since I didn't think it would protect it from my host machine installation. No 3rd party firewalls at all.

Finally got it working. I had to uninstall Vbox and then reinstall it as Admin. Got the bridged adapter set up and finally got my printers sharing on the network. Thanks guys for all your help. You guys do a great job in here.
