I just tried Ubuntu Karmic Koala 9.10 beta 1, and noticed that VirtualBox OSE is already preinstalled!
You can find it it in
Applications -> Accessories -> VirtualBox OSE

Very cool unless you want to use USB and then you need to remove it to install the PUEL version. I have mixed feelings about this kind of thing being installed by default.
