Solaris ISO image not recognized

Sorry for the basic question but I'm stuck... Searched the forums but couldn't find any answers to this. I apologize if I missed it in a previous topic.
Read the manual and it seems like I did everything right so far:
- installed virtualbox 3.0.6 on Windows XP (sp3)
- downloaded Solaris 10 SPARC ISO (not compressed) and verified md5 checksum
- set up a new VM using the wizard, selected Mount CD/DVD Drive, checked ISO Image File, and selected the downloaded file
- on the main console window under Details, CD/DVD-ROM shows the correct image file
- under Virtual Media Manager, CD/DVD Images tab, it shows the correct file and shows it attached to the VM I just created (only one VM, so no confusion there)
So far, so good...
- On the main console, I highlight the VM in the left pane and click Start.
- Window opens, flashes the Virtualbox screen and then goes to a window with the message
"FATAL: No bootable medium found! System halted."
Do I need to do anything to prep the ISO image I downloaded from SUN?
Filename is:
sol-10-u7-ga-sparc-dvd.iso
checksum is correct.
If I were on a Solaris box, I know I would need to use lofiadm to mount the ISO image, but I'm not sure what I need to do here on a windows box.
Thanks in advance.
