Hi All,
I have 2 virtual machines connected by "Internal Network intnet1". How can I intercept the traffic between those machines using Wireshark or tcpdump? There is no visible network interfaces in host-system.
Or it better to use Host-only adapters on virtual machines?
Thanks!

Re: Virtual network sniffering
Internal is a guest only interface and the host is excluded.
if you need the guests to talk to the host you need Host-only.
if you need the guests to talk to the host you need Host-only.

If you want to monitor traffic between the vms in a virtual network, run Wireshark or Network Monitor 3 in one of the vms, not the host.
