Can anyone suggest what I should set my VM guest ram settings to for Memory and Video memory for the best performance of both my machine and vm at same time with no issues?
I'll be installing Windows XP Pro as the guest VM and am using the same on the host machine.
I have the option to choose up to 1500 MB of Ram (I have 4GB on my PC) and the option to choose up to 128MB of Video Memory.
My PC specs are:
Intel Pentium D 2.8 GHz/4GB DDR2-800 Ram
ATI Radeon X300 SE Graphics Card
Thanks

Re: Ram Settings
Give the VM 1 GB of RAM, 1,5 might give a bit more spice to it, but shouldn't be needed. VRAM can be left at the default value, because it's taken from physical RAM, not the video card.
