two NICs at Host: 1st active 2nd disabled - Guest 2nd active

hi all,
is this situation possible?

host winxp with 2 NIC's
HOST:
1. nic active (lan)
2. nic disabled (device manager)!

Guests:
only on the 2. nic at a 2nd lan active.

if this is possible, can you give me a hint.

A disabled lan device won't show in VBox.
