Hello,
I'm am trying to install Windows Server 2008 R2 (which is only available in 64 bit version) on a 32 bit Windows 7 Ultimate Host. I have enabled IO APIC and the rest of my settings are listed below. When I boot the guest it hangs at the "Starting Windows" logo screen.
Any ideas?

Re: Windows Server 2008 R2 on 32 bit host
Ok, I read the FAQ. It tells me the same thing I've already read in several other places. I'm running virtual box on a Lenovo T500 with all virtualization options enabled in the bios.
Anyone else have any suggestions?

Did you READ the parts that deal with verifying vt-x is working? try hitting F8 and let it sit idle, then check the V icon on the VM bar at the bottum.
