I installed VirtualBox-3.0.6-52128-Win.exe into my machine:

Gateway M685-E
3 Gb RAM
500 Gb HD
Windows XP SP 3
Member of our Domain

Immediately after installation, it froze everything so I had to reboot the laptop.

I got this error in Event viewer:

Event ID 1054:

Windows cannot obtain the domain controller name for your computer network. (The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted. ). Group Policy processing aborted.

My laptop couldn't load GPO policies, couldn't read Domain Controller's files, etc... so I had to remove Virtual Box, now everything is back to normal, can read GPO files, etc...

Looks like it is a bug, is it a known bug problem or is there something that I have to do on my part?
