VMs RAM & HDD

Post by whiz »

Hi, I'm doing some school-related task with VBox and there is some info I need, but can't find.
1. What's the maximum RAM amount for each VM ?
http://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=18874 states it's more than 6GBs (for 64bit fedora, and 3GBs+ for XP), but
Changelog for VBox 3.0.6: "Main: restrict guest RAM size to 1.5 GB (32 bits Windows hosts only)"
2. VMware's products have limits such as: max IDE devices: 4; max SCSI devices: 60; max size for hdd: 950GBs. What are these limits for Virtualbox ?
Any help is appreciated.
