VirtualBox - System Time Clock

Post by Westys »

I'm trying to savestate my session in the Virtualbox (Win XP Home) and would like the system clock inside the Virtualbox to always restart at the time and date I saved when I closed it down from the last time I used it.

Is there a way to have the virtualbox system time start from where you left off?

Cheers

Not that I am aware of. You are wanting a timer and trying to use the system clock.

Wanting to use the Virtual System clock so I can tell how long I have been on the virtual system.
I would set up Virtual Systems and run my project in there so at the end using the system clock I'll know how long I've been on each project.

I really don't want to run sill timers or anything like that, just would be nice if this virtual server would start back at the time and date I shut it down.

Not possible, there are however programs out there that do this for you.

Job done,

Just used a batchfile in the Virtualbox Manager to turn of the clock sync. Sorted and working just how I wanted it.

Would you mind sharing the batch file?

Thx!
