What Is the Best setting to install XP Guest that have 2 cpu

Hi there,

My machine comes with T7500 Core 2 Duo CPUs and i would like to install XP Service Pack 3 32-bit as guest via Virtualbox 3.06 r52128. I had turned on Virtualization feature in the BIOS.

Could anyone have the best setting of the virtual machine to achieve the above objective? I had tried enabled VT-X, Nested Paging, ACPI, IO-APIC and the installation takes forever to finished.

Note: My host machine runs Ubuntu Jaunty 32-bit.

Check the FAQ for tools to verify vt-x is working, smp depends on it.
