[Solved] IDE Prim Slave, preventing data change in snapshot

[Solved] IDE Prim Slave, preventing data change in snapshot

I put a second virtual drive in my XP installation, a safe place to back up data files. When I went to restore a snap shot, it brought up only old data on the slave. Any way to prevent this data from being touched when using an older snap shot?

Used removable media flash drive or external USB HD.
