I am trying to Install a version of linux, specific to the company i work for. But after the installation is complete when the system is booting up i get the following error message streaming down the screen " unknown interrupt or fault EIP 00000060 c04011ed 000011ec". Has anyone had this error and know how to get round it.
Thanks

Thats the one trouble with results, you need to go thru some of them to discover how to narrow the search string.

This usually means that you need to turn on PAE in the guest settings if my memory serves me.
What is the OS that you are having to install, or based on? Is it a 32 bit server? It would also help to know the kernel version and anything else that you think might we need.

First did you try enabling PAE in the guest settings?
Usually you know what it is you are installing. Can you ask someone what it is and the version number?

Hi there, I had the same issue while installing Oracle Linux on Virtual Box but all I did was to interrupt the boot option while counting down by pressing my enter key. Then, I chose the last boot option (the one without the PAE). This did it. All i need to do now is find a way of making this the default boot.
