When I tried to install Virtualbox 3.0.6 on my Dell Precision M65 I get a bluescreen after the network interfaces has been reactivated. I'm running Windows XP SP3 with Virtual PC 2007 SP1 installed previously (but not running during install).
The bluescreen message is: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL in fw.sys at address B8D04485 (base B8C6D000).
After reboot, I tried to uninstall the software but it hasn't been added to the Add/Remove programs list. Trying to install the software again results in the same bluescreen. So how do I unstall the software and all drivers to avoid bluescreens in the future?
Edit: Attached the minidump från the bluescreen (remove .txt from file name)

Probably the easiest way to get out of this is to use the system restore of XP to a time just before the install.
After that you can look for the virtualbox folder and delete everything in the folder and it will all be gone.

Good idea! This was actually the first time I've had real use of system restore...
Strange problem though, I guess there was some collision with the Virtual PC installed drivers?

I don't know. I had/have VPC installed before VBox and I don't have a problem. But as you said it is a strange case you have. Try installing again but just be sure that you have a valid restore point before you do in case you need to revert. This time right click on the install and then left click run as Admin in case the Windows UAC is causing the problem.
