I have a usb keyboard & mouse problem on windows 7 x64.

When I add usb stick or usb hard drive, then I could not use keyboard and mouse.

So, I could not attache any screen shot of this problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

Make sure that you have not made a filter for the keyboard and mouse in the guest settings.

Perryg/ Thanls for your reply.

I didn't make filters as you can see at this picture.

But I tried to selected a filter for usb-hard disk as this;

In Windows all that is supposed to be needed is a blank filter. The one that has the blue dot.
Then once you start the Windows guest you unplug the device and plug it back in and it should be captured.

I honestly have had really bad luck with USB in a Windows host as it usually crashes the first time but after that it works until you reboot the host.
Also in Vista 64 the USB is very unstable (see known limitations in the VBox users manual.) and more than likely will be the same in the final release of Win 7.
I usually just share the devices in the host and map the resources as a network share.

Thanks for your fastest reply.

Solved problem.
At device manager, I updated broadcom's driver, then virtualbox has no problem with usb hard disks.
