Will virtualBox support the conversion between .wmx and .vdi formats ?

Or will virtualbox support .wmx format in the future ?

Because I began on VMWare, and I prefer virtualbox, but I don't know how to save all my virtual hard drives...

Is this planned ?

I'm not familiar with wmx. Do you mean vmx, the settings file? If so then you don't really need that to recreate the VM. However, you could try exporting from VMware as an OVF, and importing that into VBox.

Well I hadn't thought about that... That's a good idea.

I have a Mac OSX leopard distribution too on VMWare, I use it to compile my softs (beacause it's impossible to create softs with mac too without having mac, so i'm forced to virtualize). I DL it on bittorrent, this was a special virtual disc with leopard, with a FreeBSD virtual machine.

I don't know how did they make run it, but it works. Do you think it will work too on virtualbox ? Did this experience a ever been tried ?
