Hey I'm running Kubuntu 9.04 with VirtualBox GUI 2.1.4_OSE (not sure what suffix that is) and emulating Windows XP
I have installed Guest Additions + the DirectX plugin, Im trying to play a game from Aeria games. and I have the specs. But I cant seem to get my graphic driver installed. The game worked before when I had a normal Windows install. So im wondering if I can get the drivers for it

My laptop has a Intel945 express chipset.

For best directx support use 3.06, you can not install graphic drivers for the Guest, the GA takes care of that.

The Intel 945 has none to very little hardware OpenGL support, so it won't work on VB, which uses the Wine libraries for DX calls and translates them to OGL. Sorry, but you need to either run it through Wine itself directly, dual boot to Windows or get a better video card.
