VB 3.0.6 consumes my HD space!

Hi,

I've upgraded from VB 3.0.4 to 3.0.6 and it behaves strangely.

I run VB on Windows XP and also run a Win XP guest, it has a fixed size of 30 GB. Only a few smaller application is installed in the virtual XP, the whole size is around 6 GB.

The problem:

Every time when I work with an application in the XP guest, a file size somewhere on my drive C: is ever increasing.
The {1d93b9b2-11f6-494b-b529-51392eea33f0}.vdi file is already huge (15 GB), even after I quit the VB. As if every virtual swapping file would be kept... instead of getting rid of them at the end when I exit Virtualbox.

Now I am getting "Low Disk Space" error messages in Windows, it consumes everything, and I can not even start now the VB... it says I should free up some space!
The problem is that I used this application in the virtual XP many times without error, so 3.0.6 changed something to the worse.

Please help me!

Thanks,
bacizone

3.0.6 didn't change anything, you made a snapshot and that is now taking up the space you specified for the fixed drive. If you clean up the snapshot, so it's no longer there (discard it), it should fix your problem.

Another thing you can do is move the bunch to a different hard drive or partition. Please search the forums for more information on how to do that. TIps on how to do that can be found in the Forum Posting Guide.
