I just upgraded to 3.0.6 and seems VB can't find my GuestAdditions for Ubuntu (probably others). This is the error I get:
Medium 'C:\PROGRA~1\Sun\XVMVIR~1\VBoxGuestAdditions.iso' is not accessible. Could not access the image file 'C:\PROGRA~1\Sun\XVMVIR~1\VBoxGuestAdditions.iso' (VERR_PATH_NOT_FOUND)
VBoxGuestAdditions.iso' is not accessible

Re: VBoxGuestAdditions.iso' is not accessible
The VB install folder changed. Unregister the GA ISO, then when you need it again, use the Device menu to get it back in the Media Manager.

Re: VBoxGuestAdditions.iso' is not accessible
Finally back to this issue
I tried to unmount/remove the offending iso but I get a ugly error. First I've attached to screen dumps. pic1.jpg shows my vm_manager window and the old GA iso. (the new GA iso is attached only to ubuntu_studio.) The second screen dump, pic2.jpg, shows the error when I try and perform a 'release' on the iso.

Re: VBoxGuestAdditions.iso' is not accessible
Wow damn, learn how to make proper screenshots, please
. Why the hell would you need a 2000 x 1000 pixels image for a window that's just 300 x 150 pixels? Get a crash course for MS Paint or something.
Now, to get rid of the error, close all VMs and VB and edit the XML files of the machines that have the wrong GA loaded. See the VirtualBox FAQ for the exact entry. After that, you can remove the faulty GA entry. Fix your Ubuntu ISO too while you're at it.

Re: [FIXED] VBoxGuestAdditions.iso' is not accessible
FIXED! What I did was just remove the VM from the main VirtualBox GUI but I did NOT remove the .vdi. I just created a new VM with the same name and options but just pointed to the existing .vdi and Bingo! Ubuntu came up without a problem.

Re: VBoxGuestAdditions.iso' is not accessible
I had this Problem, too, with update to 3.0.8.
You have to edit "VirtualBox.xml" and the machines xml-File.
I searched in the "VirtualBox.xml" the false entry in <DVDImages>, edit the machines xml, my case "Machines -> Ubuntu -> Ubuntu.xml", and delete the DVDDrive line with the same uuid like the false entry in "VirtualBox.xml", then delete this false line in "VirtualBox.xml".

Re: VBoxGuestAdditions.iso' is not accessible
Hi,
I got the same issue when updated to 3.0.8 release.
Otherwise, to solve this I just entered in Settings on VB GUI console, CD/DVD-ROM, invoked the Virtual Media Manager and Add the correct location of VGA; after that removed the wrong entry .. and that's all done !!
Cheers
