Error When Running 64 bit ISO

Post by CarlosinFL »

I have a Quad Core 64 bit kernel on my PC and when I run Virtualbox on my machine and try to load a 64 bit Linux ISO virtual machine, I get an error for some reason. It can't recognize my CPU as 64 bit however I can run the i386 / i686 kernels fine. Does anyone know if I did something wrong?

Did you check the Manual and VirtualBox FAQ for the 64 bit requirements? Do you meet them?
