Hello,
I am running a Ubuntu 9.04 host, with a variety of different guests (Win XP, Win 7 rc1, Kubuntu, CentOS). In each one of the guests, I have sounds, but it is at a substantially lower level then when I run straight XP (Its also a duo boot system).
Is there something (Use the normal system drivers, etc) instead of the drivers that Virtualbox installs?
Thanks in advance,
Pat

I'm having the same issue. I assume there's an easy way to amp the output from VB, but I don't know it...

Ok... I am feeling a tad bit silly...
After reading through the forums, I went to the Volume settings along the top toolbar (Gnome), and adjusted the volume settings. That was all it took.. I didn't realize that the overall host volume settings were transferred to the Virtualbox guest.
Live and learn, I am just glad, that for me, it was an easy fix.
