Re: How do I load SP2 in XP
Deleting the VM is really quite obvious: run the VirtualBox front end, right click on a VM, select "delete". You then need to go into "File|Virtual Media Manager" and delete the virtual disk as well.

You can also just boot the VM from the installation disc and start the setup again from the beginning. No need to remove the VM and VDI. Would you throw away a computer or hard drive and buy a new one if you want to do a clean install?

In this case, not knowing for sure what has already been done... maybe.
It's faintly possible for example that the VDI got corrupted.

Then you can just dump the hard drive and get a new one

Re: How do I load SP2 in XP
Once again thanks folks for your assistance.
I have had a look on the iTunes forum and it appears that Apple are attempting to match Vista quality as there are a load of people kicking up hell about iTunes 9. It appears that things are SNAFU so I will keep a watch on the forum and see what develops.
Will report back when I have anything positive to say on the subject.

Re: How do I load SP2 in XP
I have been following the iTunes forum and found that there is now an updated version of it. Having followed your earlier advice I stripped out everything and started afresh.
Everything seemed to work to plan but at the final hurdle fell again. Loading a CD will not at any stage open to let me complete the process. I am able to set up things for the Audio Book entries but that is as far as I can get.
I am at a total loss on where to go now. Looks very much like I will have to play on some ones good nature and use their Windows system.
I hate to have to give up on this but it is begining to look hopeless.
My thanks to everyone for all their assistance
