Unable to connect to a local web host
I have VirtualBox 3.0.6 installed on a Windows Vista Host, I also have a Windows XP Virtal Machine hosting a Web Site, it is connected to the local network by: PCnet-FAST III (Bridged adapter, NVIDIA nForce 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ). I have no problem connecting to the Virtual Web Host remotely, but if I try to connect form the local network sometimes the connection works fine and some others it doesn't. It seems like something is causing some network component to freeze, since the web browser reports that it's waiting for the host to respond but then nothing else happens after that, however as soon as I shut down the Web Server the Browser complaints about the server not responding. I don't have a clue, please help.

Some things to look into: Firewall, DNS, or configuration errors is just about the best I can do with the information you have provided.
