bluetooth disabled

when I start ubuntu LTS (8.0.4) guest on windows vista the bluethooth becomes disabled. What could be happening?. what can I do?

Can you update your profile with the correct information and then tell us how you setup the guest and provide the guest settings?

ok mmm.... I have the 2.2.4 version of VB. for windows (on windows vista) and some of the settings are (for ubuntu hardy LTS guest )

this only happens with ubuntu. I have a debian OS and work fine. the same think for windows 7 and ubuntu dapper.

Thank you, much better.

Since this only happens with Ubuntu 8.04 I suspect that it has to do with the way it handles the Bluetooth adapter. There are a few things that can help.
(1) make sure that you do not use the USB filters to map the bluetooth adapter.
(2) You can remove the bluetooth from the Ubuntu install, if you are not trying to use it.
