ssh connections dying

Hi,
with recent 3.0.4 and 3.0.6 releases I have been seeing putty's output freezing after a while being idle.
The situation is like this: I start either Linux or OpenSolaris as a guest in Virtual Box on a Windows XP host. The network interface of the guest is set up as a host-only interface. Then I connect to the guest via ssh using putty. This works fine. Now after I minimize putty's window for a while and reopen it again to continue to work in the ssh session, putty's screen appears unresponsive.
As I also use screen, I was able to reconnect to the same session of the guest by reattaching to the screen session. This showed that the guest was actually receiving what I typed into the hung putty session but, putty wasn't receiving any update of the terminal.
I didn't have this problem with Virtual Box 2.x. Is this a known issue? Is there any workaround other than using screen to this issue?
Cheers,
Thomas
