I have a virtual hard disk installed with Windows 7 x64 working properly on Virtualbox 3.0.4. After I upgraded the Virtualbox to 3.0.6, the virutal hard disk stops during the booting process. I also try to install a brand new virtual hard disk from the Windows 7 x64 installation DVD and the Virtualbox 3.0.6 also stops during the booting process from the DVD.
It is a bug of Virtualbox 3.0.6?

Re: Windows 7 x64 Cannot work
I'm having the same problem. Vista 32bit host, Windows 7 64bit Guest. The virtual machine locks up during the start-up graphic. It works perfectly with 3.0.4
Re: Windows 7 x64 Cannot work
It looks like ANY 64-bit guest will not boot on 32-bit hosts using 3.0.6. See:
