USB Scanner finally works!

Rather than reporting a problem, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all the hard work put into VirtualBox by it's contributors. I'm especially happy today because after using VBox for over a year, my USB scanner finally began working for the first time with version 3.0.6 (my first 3.x version).
Host: Vista64
Guest: XP Pro, SP 3
Scanner: Fujitsu fi-4220C, USB 1.5, no Vista64 drivers available
Anyone in a similar situation that may have given up on a particular USB device, may want to try again.
