Virtual Machine not picking up SATA

Post by tb2571989 »

Hi all. Moved to VB from Microsoft Virtual PC, much better.

My installation of Sever 2003 will not pick up any of my virtual SATA Disks. If I change to IDE it works fine. Is there something missing from Server 2003 that I need to install?

Thanks.

Next to enabling the SATA controller itself from the VM settings, you also need to install the driver. The driver itself is listed in the sticky in Windows Guests forum.
