I have tried to install OpenSolaris 2009.06 as a guest in VBox 3.0.4. After installation, sometimes I get disk errors when it comes up. Is there anyway, from inside VBox, that I can test the virtual disk drive that I set up? I have run tests from my Windows boot prompt and everything seems to be fine.

You just run whatever disk check utility is provided by the guest OS. Remember that the guest is running on a simulated PC - so the errors cannot be real if the host isn't experiencing them.
