Want Virtual Vista on XP Pro Machine

I am trying to find a way to use the new Live Windows Movie Maker on my XP Pro machine. But it only works with Vista and the upcoming Windows 7. I am new at this and haven't loaded virtualbox yet because I am not sure what to do. I have boot discs for Vista Business, but I don't know if I can use them with Virtualbox?
I want my machine to continue with XP, but I want to use the new Movie maker software. Can someone direct me on what I need to do -- so I won't mess up my Lenovo laptop?
Thanks, Jeff

You install the VBox program on the laptop and then you install Vista in VBox.
It should be on a single DVD, don't remember seeing any boot disks.
Just remember that if you have your laptop set to auto start programs not to click on the wrong install when you put the DVD in the player.

I know that there were problems with the Movie Maker from Vista, it didn't run properly because it was missing some DirectX stuff. Now, there has been some changes since then and 3D is now possible, but don't come here again if it doesn't work, not all DirectX features work in VB and that might just be the ones MM needs. You have to install the Guest Additions from safe mode, else the system files will be recovered and bread the 3D support.
A second note, those install discs, are they recovery or normal retail installation? Only normal retail install discs will work because of hardware boundaries in the recovery installs.
