I have got a Ubuntu 9.04 Linux server (command-line only system) sitting in my living room which I primarily used to stream media to my XBox360. I've recently started using it to run VirtualBox (Headless+VRDP) to practice and test other Linux variants and for Certification preparation. I just sent in my XBox360 for servicing due to malfunction. So, now I have no way to stream my media to play on the TV (1080p HDTV). But, my TV has VGA and sound input.

I do not want to install a GUI on my server, since I'd rather have it command-line only. What I would like to do is run another instance of Ubuntu in a VBox VM. But, since I only run Headless VMs on the system right now I have no Guest display directed towards my HDTV. Also, there is the issue of interfacing with the GUI in the guest OS remotely (over the network), but I think VNC could be utilized for this.

Is there any way that I can redirect the graphics output from the Headless guest OS to my HDTV? Can my graphic card's dual output be somehow utilized for this?

I know this is a tall order, but it would be so nice if I can get this to work.

Not directly via the video card, you can't access the hardware directly, an usb device might work if such a thing exists.
