Having trouble installing guest OS'es.

Hi.
Im having some issues with installing both Windows 98 and Windows Me as guest OS'es.
First problem i encountered was a message that popped up during the Windows Setup itself (after the step of running scandisk and such). From what i understand, it only occurs when i moved my mouse when it was locked by the VM.

Right, i then thought i could go through the whole process of installing Windows without using the mouse, and it got me further.
But now the whole VM locks up after it has rebooted, and is "prepearing to run windows for the first time".
After running the booting it up "step by step", i saw that it locks up after it asks "msmouse.vxd".

Is there anyone out there that might know why this is happening?
And maybe what i might do to prevent this and get it running?
I'd really like to be able to play some of my older games that wont work in Win7.
On a sidenote, i've gotten VirtualPC running a VM with Win98. But trying to run a VB VM with the same .vhd doesnt work either. Just locks up during the loading of Windows.

There is a howto here as a sticky that describes how to install Windows 9x systems in VB. Please refer to that and come back here if it doesn't work.

It doesnt really explain the installation process itself in detail, just setting up the sound and such when you're done installing, and yes, i did read through it before i posted here.
Aswell as poking around in google. And none of them gave me any results or clues.
And like i said, i didnt experience any problems when i did the same in VirtualPC. But since VPC doesnt support 3D acceleration, its sortof useless for me.
Thats why im asking you guys here.

If you have already created it in VPC why not just use that one in VBox? You do need to uninstall the VPC additions first, and write down all of the settings so you can match them in VBox.

But to be totally honest with you it is not going to matter anyway. The extra 3D effects are generated with the help of the guest additions and that is not supported in Windows 98.

What about Windows Me?
I've been trying to install that aswell, but just like Win98, it only freezes during the loading, if i get past the installation, or use the .vhd from a VirtualPC VM with a fresh install of WinMe.

Really the supported guest are listed here http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Guest_OSes
Anything older than XP is going to be hard to get to work and will not give you much of anything when you are done. Mostly nostalgia.
