Enable multi processors fails

Hi,

Here is my problem :

I've got a motherboard (ABIT AN78GS) with all the settings enabled for virtualization in the bios, and a processor AMD phenom X4, 4 Go gskill RAM.

The bios is up to date, and i run mandriva 2009.1 with KDE 4.3.1.

Tested with virtualbox 3.0.4 and 3.0.6 beta

Everything works great.

The problem is that i can't run virtualbox with all the cores activated.
I've got a message telling me that VT-x is not enabled.

I don't understand why i've got this message knowing that VT-x is for intel processors.

thanks

You may have AMD-v turned on in your BIOS, but did you enable it for the VM too?

if VM means virtualbox, yes, it's enable as when you select more than one core it's automaticaly selected

Do you have the other requirements enabled, as per changelog and user manual? I/O APIC needs to be on too, as well as ACPI.

Then check your BIOS again, you may need to update it to get better AMD-v support.
