I see a number of things in the settings file I don't like, but nothing critical.

Please set the memory to 512MB. 256MB shouldn't cause a crash, but 512MB is better for XP.

Please disable 3D acceleration.

Please disable USB. You should do this anyway if you have problems, but your profile says you are using a self compiled OSE version, which therefore does not have USB support? However I notice you seem to have installed the 3.0.6 guest additions. Does that match the version of VBox you are using? Are you actually using the 3.0.6 beta?

Please unmount your host CD/DVD drive.

People talk about the video RAM, but I've never found that to be a problem. Mine is set to 8MB with all my older XP guests (newer VBox versions have a higher default).

if i will take off acelarator 3d it will be this same like virtual pc from microsoft(working but to bigs lags) ... so i cant do it... i trying with 512 mb and blue screen error... in profile i dont know did i chose good option(3.06 win 86) i will of usb... and try again.

Have you tried this with Version 3.0.4? 3.0.6 is a Beta after all.

Please turn off the 3D accelerator. If you not willing to try suggested changes then this is not going to get very far.

You should not assume that VirtualBox performance will be similar to Virtual PC, whether or not you have 3D acceleration turned on (or off). I do not have it turned on, yet normal guest graphics performance (with guest additions installed) is frankly excellent. 3D may be better for gaming or for fancy effects, but you can survive without that until we can get your system to boot.

Also, please confirm that you made all the other changes I mentioned.

If possible you should provide a screendump of the bluescreen error too.

When you start the VM, hit F8 a couple of times until you get a menu similar to that when you closed XP improperly. There you can disable the reboot on system failure, the BSOD will now stay visible.

i changed setings to 128vram 512 ram and 3d accelarator off and it imposible to do what i want do(much bigger lags than vpc) with 16vram and 256 ram i had arround 5fps and i need something like that but it must work without any crash... no like now...

i seted more vram for faster crash and now i had this error



what are u thinking about linux change system cant help?

game online on host and on guest many friend using it and it work good;) and sorry for that i dint think about language on error^^(error contact with admins and send log:P) its low graphic game.

ahh u need more specific:D ok its not a problem:) Mu online. i can use vpc but 8mb card with out 3 d accelarator... i cant do many things... with vbox i can do alll what i want. Sometime it looks like normal pc;) i bought 2 gb ram more now i need to install 64 bit system cuz 32 can use only 3,5 gb(i have 5gb now) maybe it will be work better....
