Post by smauller87 »

First off Hello ALL! I'm looking forward to reading the postings. I love virtual box but I am having a problem with linux mint gloria.
I was wondering if anyone has put VirtualBox on MojoPac. I was wondering if anyone was experiencing issues?

I read their (MojoPac) EULA and deleted it before I got it installed.

What I read is for advertising purpose. So they can put trackers on their software for all uses of it?

Hey it is not a problem. You go ahead and use it. I have way too many hours invested in my things to take the chance. At least they spelled it out in the EULA instead of doing it behind your back.

Wow ok I went and googled the EULA wow their statements are a powerful loop hole. Just so others can read this I am going to quote their EULA

Here is the website.....http://www.ringcube.com/portal/content/eula.jsp

"Notice for all Users:

By downloading and installing the MojoPac Software, you hereby consent to (i) RingCube’s monitoring and collection of statistical data based on any of your activities while implementing or using the RingCube Software and (ii) receiving ads and other promotional materials that appear as notices on the desktop of your personal computer. You can uninstall the MojoPac Software at anytime by upgrading to the RingCube Software entitled MojoPac Professional (“MojoPac Professional Software”), or by deleting the MojoPac Software from your drive."

I can't believe I missed this. It makes me sick. Thanks for the heads up. WOw that gives them a lot of room to do what they want. I am un-installing it as soon as I finish with this message. Thank you!
