Cannot release or remove virtual hard disk

I've been following some instructions I found on how to move the location of my .vdi file. First step was to move it, 2nd, start VBox, and when prompted that it could not find the .vdi file, to click check to start the hardware manger (I think that's what it's called). Then I need to release and remove the drive, before I can add it back again from its correct location. The problem is, both release and remove are greyed out.

So, I played around some, thinking having a snapshot might be the problem, so I try to remove the sanpshots and it tells me it can't because there's more than one child hard disk.

Any help?

Instead of doing it through the GUI, you can also edit the XML files directly and change the paths accordingly.
