Vbox proxy settings

Post by etrigan63 »

Is there any way to setup proxy settings in the Vbox control app to allow it to register? I cannot seem to find it even in the new beta. It would be really useful if someone wanted to run Vbox in an enterprise environment. It would also make updating much, much easier.

There isn't a proxy setting at the moment. But, you don't have to register the application. Just hit Cancel and after a few times it won't show up anymore. I don't have it registered either, no problems with it.

If you're concerned about the use in a corporate environment, take a look at the Licensing FAQ.
