Hi,
How do I stop syncronizing my guest system's date with my host system's date?
Or is it possible to set a system date in guest system bios?

I'm using 3.0.4 on XP Pro, guest is also XP Pro.
Thanks.

The Guest doesn't have a system BIOS, at least not one like your Host. The sync you're talking about is something the Guest Additions provide. Have you tried to change the time without the GA and reboot the Guest, to see if the time is still changed? Else, if you need a different time, you have to set an offset. It's in the Manual, using the VBoxManage command, for how to do that. The time noted is in milliseconds, so the number you have to enter can be fairly big.

Code: Select all

VBoxManage modifyvm <UUID|name> --biossystemtimeoffset <msec>
