After rebooting a Vista host, you may find network sharing and discovery is turned off in Vista, and you must keep turning it back on after every reboot. The problem and solution appears to be the same as with VMWare, as described here:

(FIXED) Vista: Fixing loss of network sharing after reboot
I've modified the VMWare PowerShell script. It lets me easily overcome this quirk with every upgrade, provied you have MS PowerShell installed.
