Hi,

I am running WindowsXP as guest OS inside Ubuntu 9.04 (host) and would like to connect to the guest OS from another PC which is running WindowsXP through VNC. I have been reading the VB documentation, and the post in this forum listed below:

1) http://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?p=11370 :: Running VirtualBox from VNC
2) http://forums.virtualbox.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=15301 :: Control guest through VNC

I still have no clue on how this going to implement. May I know how can I setting up the VirtualBox to allow connection from another PC through VNC? Any guidance and pointer is much appreciated.

THanks @!

Forward the VNC ports in NAT mode (see the Manual) or use Bridge mode.

Great!! Thank you so much.

I am using bridge mode for the networking type since it is one step setup, and now I have my VirtualBox connected with the VNC from other computer. I have read the documentation regarding on the forwarding port in NAT mode before I raise this thread, but not confidence on doing so as I'm afraid that will create more troublesome work.
