Hi everyone,
I've been trying to solve a problem for 2 weeks that i need to do. But i couldn't. Please help me.
- I have Windows XP SP3 installed on both guest and host OS.
- My virtualbox XP's network card configuration is NAT. And automatic IP is chosen. And takes 10.0.2.15 Ip, 10.0.2.2 DNS from DHCP.
- On my host XP, virtualbox network card's ip configuration is: 192.168.56.1 and 255.255.255.0. And DNS is empty.
- These are the standart values and the only way i can connect to internet on my virtual XP.
- My modem is Pikatel Combomax. And i'm on 192.168.1.1 ip range.
- My host XP uses 192.168.1.3 IP.
- I need to open 15963 TCP & UDP port on my virtualbox XP. I'm an IT specialist in fact:) And i'm getting mad how i couldn't solve this. I tried internal only, bridged, etc. options also.
- What i exactly want is opening 15963 port for TCP and UDP and forward it to my virtualbox XP.
- I have tried 22,2222,ssh example's variants. Nope:( I have tried to do in command line as told in forums and help file of VirtualBox.
- I want WAN traffic for 15963 port forward to virtual guest XP, 10.0.2.15 as standart. Only in NAT option of network card, i can connect to Internet.
- What i want is not forwarding my host Xp's port to be forwarded to my virtual guest. I mean i want 15963 free to the world, WAN, direct from my modem easily by typing local port, lan port, etc. But virtual XP must be in 192.168.1.xx Ip range.
Please help about forwarding a port, opening a porton both guest and host OS are XP. And please urgently:(
Best Regards..
Anyone help me open and forward a port on Guest and Host XP?
