Hi,
I am using AMD 940 CPU. I do read some artical using 940 and enabled multiprocessor. When I try to enable the AMD-V and start a XP guest, vbox throw a message said "VT-x is not available."
How can I solve this problem? I have already enable AMD-V in bios and I am using 3.0.4, host os is XP and the guest is also XP.
Thanks.

Thats not the issue, you want to enable vt-x(amd-v) and its not available, either upgrade the bios or follow some of the suggestions in the FAQ to get it working, or disable vt-x.

Thanks there. Actually I have tried to follow all tips, but no luck. I always find "00:00:05.753 HWACCM: No VT-x or AMD-V CPU extension found. Reason VERR_SVM_DISABLED" no matter I enable the feature in BIOS setup or even upgrade the BIOS. How can I check it is vbox bugs or my BIOS fake me?
