I recently upgraded Virtualbox 2.2.4 to 3.0.4 on my Kubuntu 9.04 computer. I downloaded 3.0.4 from the Virtualbox site and followed the instructions there. Now accordingly KPackegeKit I should have it installed. But whenever I try to open it from either the application launcer or via a terminal it appears as I don't have Virtualbox on my computer. I've tried to reinstall it a few times but it's still the same.

This question seems to be specific to Linux hosts, not a generic VBox problem. You should therefore IMHO ask the question in the "Lunux hosts" forum.
