Active Directory Account Locking Out
Posted: 26. Aug 2009, 09:53
HOST: Windows XP Pro SP2
GUEST: Windows XP Pro SP2
HOST: Added to domain1
GUEST: Added to domain2
The host is connected via VPN to domain1 prior to logging in at the host login screen. Then once logged in the guest is loaded and connects to domain2 without the need for connecting via VPN. The host domain account (domain1) is not getting locked out and remains fine, however every time I reboot the host system after having used the guest virtual box, the guest AD domain account (domain2) gets locked out. This means I need to constantly unlock the account.
The reason I am doing it this way is because I need to be able to access both domains from one machine. I have 2 screens, one for the host domain (domain1) and the other I use for the virtual box guest (domain2).
If anyone can help me resolve this issue so that the guest domain user account does not keep locking out then I would really appreciate it. Thanks.
John
