Dear Forum,
I think I'm using the PUEL version rather than open source. I can't find any reference in help>about or the user guide to let me know. I downloaded and installed using the http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/debian jaunty non-free source in Ubuntu 9.04. I assume the non-free refers to the PUEL.
How do I check which version / license I'm using?

Re: I'm I using the PUEL version?
And don't skip the VirtualBox FAQ either. You're running the PUEL version, that's one thing that's sure. If you weren't, it would show with dpkg -l as you listed. The OSE package is called virtualbox-ose, the PUEL ones just plain virtualbox. You can check it too using the VM settings, if you have USB, it's the PUEL.
