Dear all
after the migration from virtualbox-2.0 to virtualbox-3.0 (i've removed 2.0 and installed 3.0) i'm experiencing some problem:
when one of my windows virtual machine are on in my host machine (Ubuntu 8.0.4 kernel 2.6.24-24-generic ) any copy and paste action (both from application menu and ctrl+c/v) doesn't work in any application.
Is there anything that i can do?
Thanks to all in advance

Which Ctrl are you using? By default the right Ctrl key is the Host key, and that won't work with copy/paste. If you want to copy/paste from the Host to the Guest or vice versa, the Guest Additions need to be installed, but if it's inside the Guest, then nothing should be needed.

Sorry fo my english
Can smbd help???
Re: CTRL+C / CTRL+V probelm after migration to 3.0.4
i'm using the sx ctrl.
But, anyway, the problem is not related to a specific key (in that case the ctrl) but more generally on the copy and paste action, even using menu option.
For example:
my windows guest is on (minimized) and i'm working on ubuntu (i.e. using openoffice or posting on this forum) if i select some text and then do Edit/copy and then try do do Edit/paste the paste action is disabled.
This happend in any program on the host.
Guest Additions are installed, it seems that che guest virtual machine grabs ALL the copy action.

Re: CTRL+C / CTRL+V probelm after migration to 3.0.4
i've resolved removing and re-installing guest additions.
probably the old version was not completely compatible with 3.0.4

Re: [Solved] CTRL+C / CTRL+V probelm after migration to 3.0.4
With Ubuntu Jaunty as host on a Dell Mini 9, I couldn't use CTRL+C but I found that CTRL-ALT-DEL worked! I tried this on a whim and lo and behold!
