Installing Win7beta 64-bit on VBox 3.0.4 using Ubuntu host

I'm having trouble installing Windows 7 beta 64-bit. I am running 64-bit Ubuntu 9.04 on a 64-bit AMD-based machine. When the machine opens up and the install program loads, I get the error that I'm "attempting to install a 64-bit program on a CPU that doesn't support 64-bit" (something to that effect).

I've done some searches, and one piece of advice seems to be to ensure that my host machine's BIOS option for Hardware Virtualization is turned on. However, I cannot find any such option, or anything like it, anywhere in my BIOS (I'm using a DFI LanParty nF4 if anyone has any ideas).

I don't know what to do next. On the system tab of my Win7 entry in Virtual Box, it says that I have 1 processor. Now, I have a dual-processor, but the option to make this change is grayed out in the setup and I cannot change it.

Ideas?

Your motherboard has, if I look at the name only, has the nForce4 chipset. That is the same family as the one I have on my motherboard (I have the nForce4 SLI). This is a socket 939 motherboard, AMD CPUs with AMD-V use socket AM2 or newer. So you can't run 64 bit guests, because you don't have the hardware requirements. See the VirtualBox FAQ for them. It's also in the manual.
