I have a three partitioned Windows host system but only have allocatable space on E drive. On that drive I installed an XP Guest and then started a network install of a 2.5 gig app. What was a surprise and forced me to abort installation was that virtualbox was allocating space on C drive of the host system where none is available. Can I be pointed to the setting within VirtualBox that would force all space allocations to apply to E drive only.
Thanks

Re: VirtualBox writing to C drive
You can change where the files are stored by opening the VBox program and click on file -> preference -> General.
